What are Ultra Violet (UV) rays?

HOW DOES UVC DESTROY GERMS?
The high energy from short wavelength UVC light is absorbed in the cellular RNA and DNA, damaging nucleic acids and preventing microorganisms from infecting and reproducing. What is a UVC testing card?
The dual feature of a UV and UV-C test card is based on the principle of molecular change when excited with high energy wavelengths of light.
