New regulations are needed for AP-UVGI (Active Personnel Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) applications that should increase the threshold of exposure to a narrow band of Far-UVC by orders of magnitude. However, until regulations get caught up with science all current regulatory exposures levels for irradiation must be followed as per your jurisdiction. When designing a FAR-UVC lighting system compliance with government, state or local guidelines for general UVC must always be followed.

Katie is a mother of necessity, the QuantaDose invention saw UV light because Katie had to protect family members when half her home was quarantined off with a sick family member. She needed results quickly!

Under her leadership, QuantaDose is the #1 best-selling UVC detection device in every country it is sold. The company’s vast pool of expertise is pioneering a world-leadership position in Far UV germicidal irradiation and innovative self-powered rapid result UVC detection.
John started his first college-level engineering courses at 15 years old, attending Tidewater Community College – TCC Portsmouth Campus.

In the 90s, Coates demonstrated the world’s first interferometric array cell phone antenna for safer levels of EMR exposure; today, that innovation is widely used when beamforming high-frequency wireless communication arrays.

Now, those decades of experience in mastering the knowledge of photon bio-effects and EMR emitting devices are being used to target bio-agent health threats.
